Accessing the Service¶
Accounts and Regions¶
The MemberCheck service operates across multiple regions worldwide, providing clients with data sovereignty in their chosen region. Organisation and user accounts are region-specific and are not automatically transferable between regions. If you require your organisation account to be transferred to a different region, please reach out to your Account Manager.
Access to the system is by invitation by your organisation Compliance Officer. When a user is onboarded to the service, details for login and region are included in the onboarding email. Please take note of the username if it is in the format of a username or email address.
All accounts include access to both the web portal and API.
API Access¶
All user accounts have API access enabled. Users can generate an API key from their user profile screen. Only one (1) API key can be active at any one time.
API access is available for all user accounts. To start, users can generate an API key within the user profile screen.
Maintaining Uninterrupted API Access
To prevent service disruption once integrated with MemberCheck, we recommend creating a dedicated service account and generating the API key on that account. This ensures API access continues unaffected when team members leave your organisation and their accounts are deactivated.
API keys are unique to each environment and region, including the demo service. If you maintain accounts in both Production and Demo environments, or have migrated between regions, ensure you use the correct environment and region-specific key and URL for successful authentication and authorisation.
